Welcome to our website
Stephan breeds English rabbits and Alexander breeds tan rabbits.  We are now breeding and have produced much of the stock we are now breeding from.  We both have second generation stock and are moving to third generation in 2010.

Alexander is having an incredible time winning 9 Best Juniors out of a possible 13!  Quite some hit rate.  Alex took a 2nd BIS at Medway Towns in December and 3rd BIS at the one star show at Three Leighs the week later, both with Smudge.  He also had third BIS with Smudge at the South West Tan support show.  He has now had best junior with five different rabbits, and seems to be getting better stock with each new litter.  Looking forward to taking it one step further next year.

Dad entered his first English Club show and won a first, so some luck.  Breading has been less successful with too many sudden deaths.  Hoping for a better 2010

English rabbits - Steve
I first kept English rabbits in the late 1970s and 1980s in Guernsey.  I mostly had blacks, but I also had a couple of greys and torts, and for a short time a few blues.  Ultimately, I ended up with just blacks and torts.  I had to give up in 1985 when I went to University.  I started again in 1995 with chocolates and a few blacks but had to give up a few years later.

I am now starting up again.  Kelly Brown supplied me with a couple of bucks and three does, all from the same litter, and you can see her site on the "Useful Links" page.  Thanks Kelly.  These are are in turn from Bob Bushell stock.

Phil Shaw of Dalesgate supplied me with two quality grey does at the National ASS, and I picked up two excellent grey bucks in the Sale of the Stars.  The first buck was from Kitwood Stud and the second from Bob Chappell.  I also picked up a chocolate buck from 5 Star Stud.  Thanks to all for concerned for the rabbits, I now feel I have some great stock to build a winning stud.

Judy Le Marchant supplied me with a couple of tri-coloured English does and a black buck.  The older doe is an import Judy brought from the Netherlands, the younger doe was bred by Dawn Stearn from French stock imported by Judy Le Marchant.  The black buck originally came from Steve Alderman.  I next got a black doe from Steve Alderman and a tri-clour buck from Dawn, via Judy.  Thanks to everyone.

Tan rabbits - Alex
My dad kept a few chocs and lilacs in the early/mid 1980s, and I was introduced to tans by the same man, Ken Falla, in Guernsey.  My dad did a bit of research and found out that Ken Lettington lived less than half an hour away from us in Kent.  Dad knew Ken from Ken's judging in Guernsey.

Ken Lettington supplied a trio of top quality tans for me in October 2008 and I am now breeding chocs and blacks.  Ken bred the two does for me before I took them home and I now have my first litter of three blacks.  Thanks Ken.

Dad also knew Derek Medlock from the times Derek came to judge in Guernsey.  My dad also managed to get a trio from Derek for me.  An adult black buck, an adult black doe and an adult chocolate doe.  Derek also threw in a 12 week old black buck for me to begin showing with.  Thanks Derek.

Finally we picked up a chocolate buck from Angela & Keith Durose and chocolate doe from the auction at the National Tan show December 2009.  Thanks to all concerned
